Production Information System can bring more efficient production process and in addition provides better information for decision making. Using poor information system can lead to poor decision making The role of Information System in production process is essensial because there are some activities that need to record data and avalaible informations as a source in decision making. This reseach develops Production Information System that covers all activities in filament production system at PT Cahaya Angkasa Abadi, including order entry, Production Planning and Inventory Control, Warehouse, Quality Control, Coiling, Annealing and Dissolving Department. Having this Production Information System it is hoped that management will have more accurate information for decisions making. Keywords : Information System, Production Information System. |
