| Specific Detail Info | Energy is a scarce resource which is highly required by human being because its existence is significant for the viability of human being. Nowadays, the necessity for electricity is increasing, both in the household activities and in the industrial sector activities. Owing to the continuous demand of energy resource, in the long run such energy resource will be scarce. Firms can establish a policy on energy usage and implement energy management, which is an effort to use the energy efficiently in order to keep it available for a long time. But implementing energy management needs a great concern and involvement by the firm’s entities. The objectives of this research are to determine the influence factors of implementation on energy management using the Soft System Methodology model, and to analyze the connection by using the Structural Equation Modeling. Based on the result obtained, it can be derived that commitment holds the largest significance level of 0.28, which are followed by energy saving awareness of 0.26. The smallest significance level of influence is competency with the score 0.19. After the relations are defined, a strategy approach to the energy management of the firms can be designed by making an energy use assessment on the hotel building and building an effective management based on six aspect of energy management.
