Specific Detail Info Garam Cap Kapal is a iodium salt produced by PT. Susanti Megah. Basicly this product has a great quality, so that PT. Susanti Megah should be able to keep or increase the quality of their product to keep it’s competency on the market. In order to keep on the market competition, the company not only has to make a product with low price but also a product with a great in quality. Unfortunately, there are some waste on it’s real production process that cause the decreasing in quality and of course the company’s profit margin will be lower. Based on the factual condition, some research should be done in order to analyze and improve the product’s quality by mean of Lean Six Sigma approach and FMEA method to find out the failure that might be happened during the process. Finally we could obtain some of the best alternatives in reducing waste. Through implementing those alternatives, the business value of PT. Susanti Megah will be better than present condition. So the company will be able to reduce their failure cost. Keyword : Lean Six Sigma, Product Quality, Waste.
