Specific Detail Info | The consumption of Agri-product, such as fruits and vegetables, tends to be more com- plex due to customer tendency and government policy prioritizing local product consump- tion rather than imported product. The emerged supply chain, called short and local supply chain, has unique characteristics which involved only three echelons: supplier (farmer), distributor and customer. The suppliers can deliver their products with or without the sup- port of distributor and distributor could decide to transfer the product to another distributor. In order to minimize the transportation cost, the problem is broke down into three deci- sions: (i) decision for opening suppliers’, (ii) which distributors will be used and (iii) the flow of product from supplier to customer. Using extended Benders Decomposition based on Prieto (2012), the approach will be implemented in order to establish a set of reliable code which is able to solve the problem. This study uses valid inequalities and relaxation constraints to enhance the solution of master problem. The instances has been generated based on collected data from the research in Isère Department (France) for the sake of test- ing reliability of the extended technique. From the results, it is found that previous research offers incorrect range of solution for some instances in order to estimate the value of opti- mal solution. This study proposes better solution regarding to the computational time and quality solution for larger instances.
