Specific Detail Info Innovation in product development is obviously required for most companies which are competing to be one of the top manufacturer in their own products by producing the right product in the right time and the right cost. Rapid innovation appears to be in many types of industries especially energy source section industry. Energy source such as batteries are needed in several aspects of industries. As a secondary battery manufacturer, PT. X needs to catch up the demands by fulfilling it with the desired product. Therefore, PT.X needs method which can support PT. X to produce the rapidly developed products mostly for automotive industry with minimum time and cost. Basically, it is not easy to implement Concurrent Engineering in the company for developing new products and Concurrent Engineering can not be implemented instantly. Therefore, readiness level assessment needs to be done before implementing CE in order to have the most effective concurrent engineering implementation. This research conducts the modification of Readiness Assessment for Concurrent Engineering (RACE) model with Benchmarking and Readiness Assessment for CE in Construction (BEACON) Model. The result for PT. X readiness level is that even though average total score has reached the readiness level, but since there is one critical element scores below 60%, then PT.X is not fully ready for implementing concurrent engineering and needs to improve the readiness level.
