Abstract/Notes Garuda Maintenance Facility (GMF) AeroAsia is a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) company that plays critical role in aircraft maintenance in Asia Pacific Region. Increasing number of aircraft in Asia Pacific has become an opportunity for GMF to take over the market demand. One of the unit that responsible for component maintenance is TCW Unit. This unit focuses on Brake and Wheel component maintenance. However, there is still obstacles in its main operational activities based on the observation conducted in the plant of Brake components. The total time of maintenance business process reaches 53 hours for repair process of brake component, while the international standard for brake mainenance is 14 hours. Therefore, several improvements scenario has been proposed to reduce the lead time of maintenance process. Analysis of activity time, operational risks, and inventory availability has been conducted in order to find the best scenario. Those scenarios are simulated using ARENA Software to discover the lead time of each of the improvement recommendations. In addition, Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) is conducted for all the scenarios with shorter lead time compared to the existing maintenance process. The best scenario based on the ARENA simulation and BCR is Scenario 3 which is to provide inventory of the highly needed component (Break Down Parts) with the result of 48,8 hours and BCR of 6,29.
