| Abstract/Notes | Kediri is one of city in East Java that has small textile industry centre in woven cloth ikat which is known as Tenun Ikat Bandar. Tenun ikat is a hand crafted fabric made using traditional tools, commonly called ATBM (Alat Tenun Bukan Mesin). This industry is now growing rapidly and need a management strategy to enhance its quality to compete. The demand of Tenun Ikat Bandar has extended to other cities outside Kediri. In order to fulfil the demand, the industrialists need to understand about consumer preference. The aim of this research is to empower innovation capability in order to improve the competitiveness of TIB (Tenun Ikat Bandar) using an integration of teknometric and SWOT analysis to formulate the right strategy to market TIB. The Conjoint analysis and Willingness to Pay (WTP) to get a combination of an optimal design, this combination will be distributed to the consumer to obtain data on consume preferences. The results showed that the contribution of technology which is the component of humanware and the lowest component is infoware. The position of IKM ikat bandar is in quadrant II. This position signifies a strong organization but faces great challenges. The highest level of importance of attribute for IKM tenun ikat bandar is raw material of yarn wich is a combination of artificial dyes, abstract motif, semi-silk raw material, packed box and required finished products such as clothes, bags, shoes, etc. The result of WTP in average of WTP respondents is Rp 216.167,- |
